This is another cause that is very close to the Grace Through Fire Mercantile family. We have been directly impacted ourselves by what a serious line of duty injury can be like. The financial stress isn’t only in the immediate time after the injury, many times it can come down the road when life shifts. Our goal with this fundraiser is to allow a relief from current financial stress due to Cpl Tuggle’s injuries and time out of the I’ll, but additionally provide enough funds to help the family later down the road as they see fit.
Corporal Aaron Tuggle with the Roane County Sheriff’s Office (TN) was seriously injured while on duty on July 3rd in a car accident. The accident has left him seriously injured with a long road of recovery ahead of him. When a law enforcement officer is injured in this capacity, it’s not a quick return to work, even in a light duty position. At this time, there is not a return date predicted. The proceeds from these sales will help support the family while Corporal Tuggle recovers and is out of work. In addition to him being out of work, typically family will also carry the financial stress and burden due to them having to stay out of work for his care.
